A physician’s referral is not necessary to access our services. Speech and Language Therapy Services may be covered by your extended health care benefits, call your insurer to find out about your coverage.

Advanced foot care nurses are trained to assess the feet, and provide treatment to conditions such as corns, calluses, bunions, and fungal nails. Advanced foot care also includes padding and strapping for those with bony prominence’s in the feet, and conditions such as hammer toe. A foot care nurse may also refer you to a podiatrist to ensure the highest level of care is provided for your well-being.

During your appointment, your feet will be thoroughly assessed, and treatment will be provided according to your needs. Patients also receive health teaching, as well as recommendations for at home product use.

My approach to massage therapy is therapeutic. With gentle opening techniques to warm up the tissue working into deep techniques using the appropriate and desired pressure of the client. My goal is to work with clients to form a treatment plan that improves their overall health and creates as many benefits as possible. I enjoy treating a wide variety of clients, from therapeutic, to maternity, to relaxation massage. Nicole Ellis graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018 with honours, and is a member in good standing with the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario). Prior to her manual therapy training, Nicole graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2016 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Nicole has experience working with diverse clientele in both clinical and volunteer settings, including elite athletes, individuals experiencing chronic pain and injuries, palliative care, headaches, postural imbalances, facet irritation, joint dysfunction, and fascial restrictions.

Nicole has a passion for biomechanics, musculoskeletal and neurological systems, pain science, and fitness, and studies current scientific literature in her field. She uses her theoretical knowledge and practical training to provide a thorough assessment, including range of motion, muscle length and strength testing, neurological testing, and specialized orthopedic testing. Evelyn has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in individual and group settings. She uses a collaborative, attachment-based therapeutic approach to help support clients who are experiencing challenges in their lives and relationships. She strives to provide a non-judgmental safe environment and uses her clinical skills to assist people to work through difficult and traumatic experiences. She is experienced in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, addiction, and trauma as well as other mental health and relationship issues.

Evelyn graduated from the University of Guelph with an honours degree in Psychology as well as in Family Relations and Human Development. She then completed a Masters of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has experience working at a family counselling agency, with the school board, and in a community mental health agency. Her background in both psychology and social work enables her to consider a variety of contributing factors when engaging in therapy. Evelyn is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Evelyn grew up in Elora and moved back here 13 years ago after spending a number of years in Texas. She is involved in the community and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer Kentner is a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) who is a member with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. She works primarily with the preschool and school-aged population. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts and Georgian College with her post-graduate diploma as a CDA.

Jennifer is originally from a small farming community in southern Ontario, however has lived in Guelph since she moved to the area for University, and just recently moved to Centre Wellington for a quieter lifestyle that she has always loved.

Jenn uses a family-centred approach and has worked for over 17 years in the Fergus and Elora regions in clinic, home, and daycare/school settings.

Through her experience, she has worked with a variety of developmental and acquired speech, language and communication difficulties, including preschool speech and language development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, stuttering, cleft lip and palate, motor speech disorders, and complex communication needs. His practice focuses on sports medicine, working with athletes ranging from casual through to elite professionals to optimize performance, improve recovery time, and heal from injuries.
